The Palin Movie, The Undefeated, opens to full theaters across the country, countering the left’s onslaught of claims to the contrary, claims that all swirled around the now infamous Conor Friedersdorf article that claimed the Palin Movie opened to an empty theater.  In a sense, the actions of these past couple of days surrounding the film, THE UNDEFEATED, has illustrated what this movie is all about, individuals combating Elitism, Corporatism, and Progressive Propaganda.  This is a movie the Left does not want you to see, and, it appears, one they cannot stop:

The reality of yesterday’s Palin Movie, THE UNDFEFEATED, opening day has set in.  What began with headlines saying Palin Movie opens to empty theater has turned completely around to Palin Movie opens to full theaters.  In the battle between the left and the right that rages online everyday, the right wins this round, buoyed by the facts that contradict the controversial, misleading article by Conor Friedersdorf that set off a firestorm from the Left declaring the movie, and Sarah Palin’s future, dead.  The right responded with calls to investigate the manner in which one movie theater manager seems to have unilaterally decided to open a movie at midnight, without letting AMC or the marketers of the movie know, and running only one ad in the newspaper, a single line in the movie listings section of the paper.

The question is how did Conor Friedersdorf, a known Palin critic, come to be the only person who actually seems to have known about this movie and showed up on Thursday, at midnight, allegedly hoping to meet Palin supporters, but choosing to show up at a time that no one knew about.  Did he know this or did he simply pick a bad time to go?  These are the questions that will continue to be probed as the story that began about the Palin movie failing has now become a story about Conor Friedersdorf and the tactics of MSM in not just reporting a story but making one to fit the narrative that supports their political ideology.

Yesterday, many people awoke to a scathing article by Conor Friedersdorf about the blog flop, the big failure that was the Palin Movie, The Undefeated.   His headlines read like a shot heard round the world- Palin movie opens to empty theaters- Palin movie the undefeated is defeated.  The left jumped onto this narrative, and pretty soon, the blog world was a flutter with news of a failed Palin Movie.  Friedersdorf even gleefully tweeted (@conor64) that this means the end of Palin as a Presidential contender.

The problem with Friedersdorf was he attended a midnight showing that was not scheduled or promoted by any marketing effort save for one obscure line in a newspaper movie listing.  Oh, and if you googled the movie, the town, and the day, you might actually find the one place where you could possibly get tickets.  It is clear Friedersdorf selected this movie showing because he knew no one would show up for a movie that no one, but him, seemed to know about.  He did this clearly to rush home and ‘get the scoop’, spread the narrative he hoped would end the Palin Movie surge and, by his reckoning, the potential presidential run by Sarah Palin.

Alas, poor Conor now has to wake up to reality, not that he didn’t get a dose of it yesterday, as the counter surge emerged to expose this journolist hack for staging, or at least trying to stage, a crushing narrative against THE UNDEFEATED.  From the Freedomist to Conservatives4Palin to even Mark Levin, the voices of truth shouted down the lies of Conor Friedersdorf and his MSM propaganda efforts.

Wake up Conor, and welcome to a world with these headlines- Palin Movie opens to open theaters- AMC 30 at the Block, the theater where Conor attended the barely publicized midnight showing, hosts MULTIPLE filled theater showings, including a 7 pm showing that had over 200 people attend.

Rumors are still swirling about possible collusion between Conor Friedersdorf and a manager in the AMC 30 at the Block.  While these rumors are completely unsuubstantiated, one would not be surprised if Conor Friedersdorf is eventually exposed as working directly in collusion with someone who decided to run a midnght showing of the Palin movie, without even informing AMC or the people marketiing the film, and only running a single line mention obscurely placed in a newspaper theater listing.  We call this the CYA principle.

Undefeated Meet-Ups!

Yesterday we awoke to a story in The Atlantic about a lone reporter showing up for a midnight showing of The Undefeated in Orange County, California. The whole contrived story left out lots of details, such as the fact that the only way to find out about this previously unscheduled showing was through a one-line mention in the LA Times or if you did a google search for the city, day, and movie. Of course, if that was all it took for people to come to a movie, ad agencies would be shuttered!

Today, however, we wake up to very different news and no cute reporter tricks are going to be able to spin this news- today, in Orange County especially, we find that when people KNOW about The Undefeated they come!
